Series Editor Alan Gross Wins Awards
Alan Gross, editor of the Rhetoric of Science and Technology series, has been named the 2009 Distinguished Scholar of the Rhetoric and Communication Theory Division of the National Communication Association and won the 2009 Best Article Award from the Visual Communication Division for his essay "Darwin’s Diagram: Scientific Visions and Scientific Visuals" in Ways of Seeing, Ways of Speaking: The Integration of Rhetoric and Vision in Constructing the Real, edited by Kristie S. Fleckenstein, Sue Hum, and Linda T. Calendrillo (Parlor Press, 2008).
